Roy of the Rovers has always
typified exemplary performance both on and off the field. Commentators are
often heard uttering the words "..that's real Roy of the Rovers
stuff!" The Roy of the Rovers comic used to present a trophy in the
late 1970's and early 1980's to the player who was most like Roy Race, both
on and off the pitch. This area of the web site aims to measure whether
players both current and past meet up to being compared with the great Roy
Race! It's up to you just submit your vote.
At the end of each calendar
month the player with the highest percentage score will be admitted to the
Hall of Fame. A detailed write up of the successful player, accompanied by a
framed head and shoulders photograph will be feature in the Hall of Fame.

Roy of the Rovers references, book references and internet web site links.
In compiling the Hall of Fame pages, these web sites have not been repeated so
there should overall be a comprehensive, factual and fitting tribute to the
relevant occupant in the Hall of Fame.
At the beginning of each month
six different players' details will be given. Of the six there will mixture
of English, foreign and retired players from different eras.
